Claims Processing
On receipt of the appointment instruction we contact the Insured and/or their repairer to arrange a prompt inspection of the loss situation and provide the necessary guidance for the initial progression of the claim.
On receipt of repair quotations the claim is quantified and settlement authorised in accordance with the appointment instruction. A standardised Schedule of Loss is provided to the Insurer in the event of more complex claims.
Progression of the repairs is monitored and contact maintained with the Insured until satisfactory completion.
Inspections
Pleasurecraft Marine Consulting will typically attend at the loss situation within 48 hours of receipt of the appointment instruction.
We work in with repairers and owners to identify the claim related damages to facilitate the prompt commencement of repairs.
Reports
Pleasurecraft Marine Consulting provides high quality reporting at every stage of the claims management process, keeping the Insurer informed in accordance with Service Level Standards and the General Insurance Code of Practice.
Our reports are structured in a format that is easy to read and free of industry jargon. Technical terminology will be used as appropriate.
